On Android, you can read a voice clip now instead of playing it. This update also gathers your tools onto a new card behind the + button.
Transcripts, made on your phone
On Android 14 and up, your phone does the transcribing by itself, and nothing leaves the phone to do it. With Show voice transcripts turned on in Settings, the text sits right under the waveform, and a tap opens a long one full screen.

Tap + and your tools open on a card. When you're done, drag it away to close it. On Business accounts, a Snippets row on the card opens up a list of your organization's text snippets Business.
Hold Send for Urgent
Urgent has moved to a long press on Send Enterprise. It shows up there once your admin has turned urgent messages on.

Pause and zoom presets
In the camera, you can now pause and resume a video, zoom with presets, and send a photo straight away or add it to your message. Videos get the same send animation as photos.
Resend in Low Quality
When a photo upload is slow, its progress ring turns amber and a Resend in Low Quality button appears under it.
Your organization's custom emoji Business show up in the app, and the first launch after an update shows what the release added. The app also starts sooner, photos take less memory, and chats with lots of reactions Pro scroll more smoothly.
The chat's scrollbar is back, and short videos recorded in the camera are no longer thrown away. Voice clips keep their last moment when you let go mid-word, and the waveform stays in step with the sound. Opening a RAW (DNG) photo full screen no longer freezes the app, and cropping an avatar no longer crashes.
