YouTube Shorts links get previews in Trillian for Windows, the reaction bar is animated, and when you copy text out of a chat, you decide whether names and times come along.
YouTube Shorts previews
With image previews of web links turned on in Settings, links to YouTube Shorts now show a preview in the chat, so you can see what you're about to watch before you click.
An animated reaction bar Pro
Hover over a message and the reaction bar grows out of it, and the reaction you pick slides into place on the message. If you haven't tried reactions yet, react to a message and watch.
Copy with or without timestamps
The When copying text setting, in Settings under Chat Windows, now has three choices: include name, time, and message content; include name and message content; or include message content only. It applies when you copy two or more messages at once in the Bubbles view. Pick the last choice and you paste only what was said.
Smaller things
A new policy Business lets administrators decide whether unread badges change color by message type. When you sign in with a wrong password, Trillian says so sooner and puts you back in the password box, and after a wrong or denied two-factor code Enterprise, the code box comes back so you can try again.
Among the fixes, chats keep showing new messages after you copy text from them, animations pause while you select text and stop using memory once they scroll out of view, and links and their tooltips keep working when part of the chat window updates. A reaction Pro that went missing from the reactions toolbar is back, Trillian Calls picks up fixes from an updated calling library, tab completion works in IRC windows, and voice clips load without freezing Trillian.
