Hover over a message and click the reaction button that appears, or open the message's menu instead. Reactions show on the message itself, and in channels each one has a count next to it. When someone else reacts, Trillian plays a sound, and you can turn on a banner as well if a sound isn't enough.

Two-factor setup, right in the app Enterprise

Ten scratch codes
Ten scratch codes

You can set up two-factor sign-in from Trillian itself now. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, and you get ten scratch codes for the times your authenticator isn't within reach. Copy them, print them, or save them as a PDF.

A few sign-in snags are gone as well. If your organization requires two-factor sign-in, you're no longer locked out before you've had the chance to set it up. A wrong code lets you try again instead of signing you out, and you can cancel the code prompt.

Transfers you can pause

Pause and resume

Images, videos, and files show a progress ring while they upload or download, along with how much has made it across so far. Click a transfer to pause it, resume it, or retry it. If one gets interrupted, it picks up from where it stopped. And if you change your mind partway, you can delete the message while its upload is running, paused, or failed.

Videos show as videos

Videos you send show up in the chat as videos, with a preview frame, instead of as a file. You can also copy files in your file manager and paste them into a chat to send them.

The smaller stuff

Find people as you type

When you've scrolled a long way up, a button takes you back to the newest message. You can search emoji from the top of the emoji browser. The Send Message window, opened from the + beside Private Chats, shows directory results Business as you type, and matches job title and department as well as names. The dialogs for starting a private chat and creating a private channel list and sort people and channels the same way on Linux, Windows, and Mac.

Of the 64 fixes, these are the ones you're most likely to have noticed. Adding people to a channel works, and so does muting or unmuting one. You can create public channels Business and see the full list of them. The emoji browser has about 1,000 more person emoji. Files you send appear in the chat instead of going missing, organization accounts Business get their 2 GB file limit instead of 25 MB, and images no longer download again every time you look at them.
