Grouping contacts
By default, Trillian for Windows groups your contacts by service, e.g. Trillian, Jabber/XMPP, etc. You can disable this grouping method if you want manual control over how your contact list groups should appear, at which point you will be able to add and remove groups, drag and drop contacts between groups, and leverage the groups-within-groups (subgroups) feature.
Changing how contacts are grouped
- Click the Trillian button in the upper left of your contact list and click Settings:
- Click the Contact List section and click to enable or disable Group online contacts by service:
