Message disclaimers

For companies operating in regulated environments where chat history must be archived, it is often desirable to send disclaimers through IM so that both parties are aware they are being monitored. Trillian Server allows you to instruct Trillian clients to send these disclaimers either every hour or every day for each individual conversation your users are having.

Configuring message disclaimers

1. From Policies, double click the policy you wish to change.
2. Click Client and click to enable Force clients to send a disclaimer along with the desired frequency. Optionally click Edit to alter the contents of the disclaimer itself:
