| Whether or not you're using Active Directory or OpenLDAP with Trillian Server, you can always add users manually. Users added outside of an LDAP environment are fully under your control, meaning they will never be disabled unless you disable them and their passwords are yours to define and manage. |
Adding a user
- From Users and Groups, click Tasks > Add Users or Tasks > Add External User.
- Provide a username, password, name, group, and policy.
- Optionally configure a user avatar by clicking the blue circle next to the username in the upper left.
- Click Add.
